Docu-film La Rose Blanche

Café La Rose Blanche is the last Greek café of Molenbeek. For half a century it has been run by the Karassavidis family whose refugee roots reach Asia-Minor. What makes this place special is the way these hardworking Greeks are able to make their clients click together. They represent almost every migratory wave that has hit Molenbeek. The director and his crew try to capture this warm microcosm while it is being lost irretrievably. An engaging film about a dark Molenbeek in transition. In all its rawness the accompanying rebetiko music serves a cheerful note.

From Black Sea to Black Ponds …

a walk around the block!

Starting from the café, we like to take groups for a walk around the block.
We tell Molenbeek history from the point of view of the Greeks from Molenbeek and relate about our project. The walk also includes a visit to the Greek church of Molenbeek.
Welcome, departure and arrival point are the café of course!
This walk is also highly recommended for team buildings. Groups of maximum 25.
